Senior Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Pre-Sales organization in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have 8-11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software. The role involves designing and architecting scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects, guiding customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB, and collaborating with the sales team to drive account success.

Requirements

• 8-11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software
• Minimum 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional capacity
• Experience designing with scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to strategize with sales teams and provide recommendations on how to drive a multi-threaded account strategy
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
