Job Description
The Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead the high-visibility initiative of transforming legacy applications into modern, microservices-based architectures powered by MongoDB. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of software development and operations experience, with a focus on building platforms and distributable software infrastructure, and experience in using GenAI in building complex large-scale systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development and operations experience
- Deep experience in building data warehouses and core components for data processing systems
- Experience in using GenAI in building complex large-scale systems
- Understanding of security-first design
- 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of engineers
- Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
