Job Description
Moniepoint Inc is seeking a Head of Data Governance to lead the company's data governance framework, ensuring high-quality, secure, and accessible data for 13 million+ people. The role involves strategic leadership, framework design, functional leadership, tech stack ownership, and risk management.
Requirements
- 9+ years of leadership experience in Data Governance, Data Engineering, or Data Strategy within a high-growth environment.
- Advanced SQL and Python skills.
- Deep knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Vault 2.0) and how to apply governance within them.
- Intimate familiarity with NDPR, GDPR, and fintech-specific data regulations.
- A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
