Job Description
Material Handlers are responsible for managing the company's warehouse operations, moving, handling, and storing raw materials, and ensuring their safety and security. They are also required to load finished goods, unload supplies and packages, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a certification in forklift operation, knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Verifying the accuracy of the quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
- Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
- Understanding allergens and labeling them accordingly
- Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
- Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular PIT checklists
- Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products
- Working with handheld-driven operations to pick outbound orders
