Wound Care Registered Nurse - Wound Healing

The Wound Care Registered Nurse (WC RN) provides quality care for wound treatment program patients under the leadership of department directors. The nurse works with autonomy, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to plan, evaluate, and implement patient care within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Must have recent nursing experience within the past two years
• Wound care experience within the past two years is preferred
• Critical thinking, communication, multi-tasking, flexibility, and good interpersonal skills are required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred
• State of California RN license is required
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required
• Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and/or Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certifications are preferred
