Montana Tech is seeking a full-time Academic Success Advisor for their TRIO Student Support Services Program. The Academic Success Advisor will provide access to tutoring, advice and assistance in postsecondary course selection, assist students with information on financial aid programs, scholarships and assistance in completing financial aid applications, as well as provide education and services designed to improve the financial and economic literacy and assist students in applying for admission to graduate and professional programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in psychology, education, sociology, social work, or related field from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with federal TRIO programs, academic support programs, or similar programs for diverse, low-income, first-generation college students
- Experience providing case management services and advising students
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strength in cross-campus collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to work with various medias, including social media
