Visiting Instructor-Chemistry & Geochemistry

The Visiting Instructor-Chemistry & Geochemistry position at Montana Technological University involves teaching undergraduate courses in chemistry, participating in departmental activities, and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in chemistry or a closely related field and experience in teaching, laboratory management, and outreach. Requirements

• Earned Masters of Science degree (or A.B.D) in chemistry or closely related field by the position start date of August 15, 2026.
• PhD in chemistry or closely related field (preferred)
• University level teaching experience in any area of chemistry (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with maintaining a chemical laboratory space (preferred)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
