Associate/Full Professor of Business Communication and Emerging Technology

Montclair State University invites applications for a full-time, mid- to senior-level tenure-track faculty position in Business Communication and Emerging Technology. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to bridge business and writing studies to strengthen the communication, storytelling, and digital fluency of undergraduate and graduate students. The position involves shared responsibilities across two departments, including teaching, curricular and program development, and the advancement of interdisciplinary initiatives.

Requirements

• A terminal degree (Ph.D., DBA, or equivalent) in Business Communication, Professional/Technical Writing, Rhetoric and Composition, Organizational Communication, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence and curricular innovation at the college level.
• A record (or clear potential) of interdisciplinary research or creative activity.
• Knowledge of or experience with digital communication tools, platforms, and technologies, including AI.
