Mechanical Equipment Specialist (Multiple Positions)

Reporting to the Assistant Supervisor Building Repairs or other supervisory official, the Mechanical Equipment Specialist performs work on heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and related electrical and pneumatic control systems.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of professional experience in work involving the installation, inspection, repair, maintenance, and operation of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• A valid NJ driver’s license.
• A valid Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician Certification of the appropriate level, commensurate with the type of equipment serviced, issued under the authority of the Federal Environmental Protection Agency.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform duties of this position.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
