Senior Repairer performs a variety of routine basic maintenance and repair tasks involved with carpentry, painting, plumbing, steam fitting, electrical and mechanical; and provides first rate customer service to the University Community.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in work involving the inspection, repair and general maintenance of household, office and other equipment, fixtures, fittings, appliances, machinery, furnishings, and buildings.
- Knowledge of standard tools, materials and methods.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and in a team.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to read, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform duties of this position.
- Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- Ability to analyze/trouble shoot problems.
