Temporary Public Safety Officer

Montgomery College seeks a Temporary Public Safety Officer for the Rockville campus. The officer will ensure a safe and secure environment, facilitate efficient execution of College functions, and enforce parking policies. They will respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of public safety experience at a higher education institution
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, fire hazards, first aid methods, and radio communications
• Ability to perform building and area safety and security work, including patrolling College grounds individually or in a vehicle
