Child Care Aide or Child Care Provider

Provide quality care of children ranging from six weeks old up to age 12 with developmentally appropriate lesson plans, creating a nurturing and respectful relationship and promoting physical skills, intellectual abilities, communication skills, and creative expression.

Requirements

• Establish a positive learning environment and provide activities that promote children's physical skills, intellectual abilities, communication skills, and creative expression
• Utilize knowledge gained through training and take precautionary measures to provide for the safety of the children, parents, and other program participants
• Integrate positive guidance techniques, such as communicating expectations, giving children realistic choices, and redirecting inappropriate behaviors
