The Medical Oncology Registered Nurse works with adolescent, adult, and geriatric oncology patients undergoing active chemotherapy treatment in the outpatient setting, administering chemotherapy treatments, assessing patients, and providing education and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing
• 1+ years of acute experience, 1+ years of oncology experience
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC)
