As a Physical Therapist at Monument Health, you will provide direct care to patients of all ages to enhance physical health and functional abilities, and carry out operational duties for the Rehab Services Department.
Requirements
- Use critical thinking and judgment in the provision of care
- Perform all aspects of treatment based on accepted national, departmental and evidence-based standards
- Document in a timely, accurate manner which supports medical necessity
- Submit required paperwork for billing, accurate charges and authorizations
- Demonstrate initiative in individual professional development
- Complete all education required by the Monument Health system and for licensure/certification in a timely manner
- Actively promote the profession within Monument Health and to the outside community
- Provide supervision according to state, federal and professional association standards
- Incorporate and educate patient, family and caregivers in treatment, goal setting and discharge planning as appropriate
- Comply with all regulatory requirements as it pertains to insurance, accrediting bodies, national and state regulatory agencies
