Electronics Assembler I - 2nd Shift

Role Overview

Join Moog's Military Aircraft Group as an Electronics Assembler I, working on-site in Elma, New York, with a 2nd shift schedule. You'll be part of a team that empowers people to achieve great things, solving interesting technical challenges in a culture of trust and respect.

What You Will Do

Assemble high-reliability chassis and final assemblies, perform soldering and crimping operations, and complete inspections and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) checks. You'll work with electronic work instructions, decipher assembly drawings, and follow strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires at least 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience, preferably in related electronics. You'll need to follow strict regulations and procedures, and be familiar with various cleaning procedures, potting compounds, and paints.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience, preferably in related electronics
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Familiarity with Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures and high-reliability soldering specifications
