Materials & Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Materials & Supply Chain Manager to oversee the supply chain organization and meet corporate, group, and divisional goals. The role will involve managing annual procurements of >$100M, leading cross-functional teams, and establishing clear processes and policies.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain a supply chain organization, focus on meeting customer needs, improve on-time delivery, cost reduction, and quality of all products and services. Establish procedures for planning, purchasing, and manufacturing of products, and lead continuous process improvements.

This role requires a strong background in materials management, supply chain, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the field, 5+ years of direct leadership experience, and a proven track record of success in materials management and contracting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Material Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related fields
• 10+ years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or similar field
• 5+ years of direct leadership experience with proven capability to lead, supervise, and manage direct reports
• Familiarity with FARs (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARs (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations)
• Sound understanding of ERP / MRP based material control systems
