Food Safety Technician (PM Shift)

The Night Food Safety Technician is responsible for ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained during night shift operations in the packing plant.

Requirements

• Conduct routine food safety and sanitation inspections throughout the facility during production and non-production hours
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure compliance with HACCP plans
• Verify proper cleaning and sanitation procedures are completed and documented
• Perform pre-operational inspections before production starts
• Collect and document environmental swabs, product samples, and test results
• Ensure compliance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) by all employees
• Identify and report food safety risks, deviations, or non-conformances
• Work closely with sanitation, production, and maintenance teams to correct issues
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions
• Assist in internal audits and regulatory inspections as needed
• Provide guidance and support to night shift staff on food safety practices
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of products and materials
