Legal Assistant

This role will work closely with a lead attorney and litigation paralegal, performing administrative duties, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, and drafting correspondence and legal documents. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
