Job Description
Community Engagement Student Assistants will assist in the development and delivery of STEM experiences to K-12 audiences and the general public. Responsibilities include setting up events, contributing to administrative tasks, and supervising the Summer Science Camp.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a UW-Madison student
- Experience with science communication, public speaking, teaching, or research is a plus
- Must demonstrate great attention to detail, be able to work with minimal supervision, and conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
- Effective oral and written communication skills and strong customer service skills are a plus
