Mill & Lathe Machine Set Up

MORryde is seeking a Mill and Lathe Set Up Operator to operate CNC Mills and Lathes, set up machines, and train team members. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, strong math skills, and mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

• Ability to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Strong understanding of machining parts to print specifications
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and manufacturing prints
• Skilled use of measurement equipment
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot setup, tooling, quality, and machining issues
• Working knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, work holding, and part inspection
• Ability to maintain part quality and process consistency
• Proven leadership ability and willingness to hold standards
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work well with a diverse team and communicate effectively
