Job Description
This Loan Officer position is for an outside sales position with a focus on business growth within the mortgage lending business. The role involves generating referrals, analyzing financial needs, and ensuring loan closings are completed on time. Strong sales skills, analytical abilities, and experience with real estate or lending are essential.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High School or Equivalent
- Minimum Knowledge: Analyze financial situations, determine best case solutions for clients
- Experience with Conventional, Government and Alt-A lending
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to prospect local markets (i.e. cold calling in person)
- Hands on experience with DU / LP is helpful
