CNA I

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA I) to provide basic nursing assistance to residents. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, eating, and exercise. All employees must be cleared to work in the facility prior to patient contact.

Requirements

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output.
• Documents ADLs, resident personal cares, and device use.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings and documents restorative services.
• Conducts job responsibilities according to policies and procedures.
