Job Description
Motional is seeking a Principal Motion Planning Engineer to contribute to the development of autonomous vehicles, focusing on research, algorithm creation, and software building for safe, comfortable, and intuitive routes and motions. The role involves integrating various algorithms and building scalable code for rapid evaluation and collaboration with perception and prediction components.
Requirements
- Develop algorithms for autonomous driving, including search, sampling, optimization, and decision-making under uncertainty.
- Integrate and evaluate motion planning and prediction algorithms.
- Design and build robust, scalable codebase.
- Participate in code reviews and mentoring.
