Job Description
Motional is seeking a Senior Motion Planning Engineer to apply their passion in robotics and software development for production-ready autonomous vehicles. The role involves leading research, building advanced algorithms, designing robust software, and collaborating with others on a production-scale codebase. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership experience.
Requirements
- PhD preferred in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in robotics.
- 5+ years of research experience in robotics / motion planning.
- 3+ years of C++ software development.
- Past experience owning and leading technical development in a production environment.
- Strong software development and research expertise.
