The Assembly Technician will assemble parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products, read and interpret engineering drawings, and test the assembled components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience in a production and assembly environment
- Experienced and able to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Able to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and instructions
- Good practical skills and manual dexterity
- Able to work accurately, methodically and to complete tasks to a high standard
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good practical mechanical aptitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
