Job Description
The Cloud FinOps Analyst will play a critical role in driving financial accountability, delivering measurable cost savings, and enhancing operational efficiency across Motorola Solutions' cloud environments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a related role focusing on cloud expense optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology
- Strong working knowledge of cloud billing and usage data from at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets to identify cost drivers and translate complex data into actionable cost-saving strategies.
- Understanding of cloud financial concepts, including amortization, forecasting, budget modeling, and commitment models (RIs, Savings Plans)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial insights to both technical teams and senior leadership.
