Field Service Technician - North Oregon/South Washington

The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in the Field Service Organization (FSO) responsible for implementing and maintaining highly technical, mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for government and public safety clients. The job tasks encompass a wide range of technical responsibilities, including the deployment, optimization, and repair of infrastructure, public safety loggers, subscribers, microwave equipment, computers, servers, and network equipment.

Requirements

• Deploy, optimize, and repair of infrastructure, public safety loggers, subscribers, microwave equipment, computers, servers, and network equipment
• Maintain optimal performance levels across an integrated system while taking a proactive approach to address and mitigate system level alarms and malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance routines to ensure proper system operation with focus on trend analysis and documentation of results
• Optimize and support complex communication systems and software applications, including advanced troubleshooting of software driven electronics, provisioning of communication system infrastructure and performance optimization of RF and Broadband systems
