Job Description
At Motorola Solutions, we are seeking a Mechanical Designer II to support various product design elements of new products, including designing parts for injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and machining. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Work as a part of the mechanical design team to support various product design elements of new products
- Designing parts for injection molding, die casting, sheet metal and machining
- Perform mechanical strength and tolerance analysis using FEM and other tools
- Design and perform testing of physical integrity of parts and at the system level
- Estimating and tracking of time and costs related to all of the responsibilities above
- Ensuring product designs comply with regulatory agency requirements
