At Motorola Solutions, we are seeking a Patent Attorney to work in our Patent Strategy and Operations group. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications, working with inventors, and managing the company's patent portfolio.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor Degree
- Member in good standing of both the USPTO patent bar and at least one state bar
- 3+ years of experience in drafting, editing, and reviewing patent disclosures and patent applications
- Strong organization, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to present technical materials to technical and non-technical audiences
- Great interpersonal and team-work skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of software development principles, programming languages, cloud development and deployment principles, and telecommunications principles
- Demonstrated experience in successfully working in a multi-discipline legal and/or technical office and the ability to work with and across multiple legal and/or technical disciplines
