Job Description
Senior Android Applications Developer to design, build, and maintain mission-critical Android applications supporting public-safety communication, situational awareness, and operational data systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and performance-optimized applications.
Requirements
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical Android applications using Kotlin-first development practices.
- Implement resilient, offline-capable, and fault-tolerant mobile solutions.
- Build modern Android user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
- Integrate with backend systems, real-time messaging platforms, and device services.
- Optimize applications for performance, battery efficiency, and reliability.
- Implement secure communication, authentication, and data-protection mechanisms.
- Contribute to automated testing, reliability validation, and release quality gates.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and operational monitoring of deployed mobile applications.
- Participate in technical design reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
