Job Description
At Motorola Solutions, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop batteries, chargers, and power supply for two-way communication products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 3-5 years of experience, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of working experience in related field
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of material properties (sheet metal and plastic)
- Ability to work individually and as a team player
- Ability to communicate and present ideas to technical audiences
- Familiarity with assembly processes such as SMT, plastic ultrasonic welding, resistance welding, low pressure molding, etc.
- Knowledge of battery, power supply, and charger design (added advantage)
- Knowledge of Creo Parametric 3D software and plastic tooling constructions (added advantage)
