Software Engineer

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Tetra Software department in Penang, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 1-3 years of experience in firmware development. Responsibilities include developing firmware for communication devices, participating in the product development process, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• PhD / Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 1-3 years’ working experience or equivalent in firmware development
• Experience in real-time embedded software development for communication devices, automotive applications, industrial automation and consumer products
• Embedded system debugging and strong analytical skills
• Good Programming & debugging skills in C/C++
• Experience with Scrum/Agile/SAFe development methodologies
• Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscope, audio/logic analyzer & signal generator
• Good foundation knowledge of microprocessors and controller design
• Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers
• Knowledge in Perl, Bash, Python, C# programming
• Creativity, independence, good team player, and highly motivated to learn and adapt to fast-changing technologies and environment
