Dosimetrist- Radiation Oncology - Mount Sinai Hospital Full Time

The Dosimetrist will be responsible for creating treatment plans, correlating simulation radiographs with diagnostic data, and collaborating with the Radiation Oncologist to design customized shielding. They will also be responsible for monitoring patient treatments, recording quality assurance, and teaching dosimetry to Radiation Oncology Residents. Additionally, they will participate in research, perform QA for treatment equipment, and supervise less experienced dosimetrists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics or related field
• Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
• 3-5 years of experience in radiation therapy or a related field
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
