Medical Assistant/Relations Associate- Float Pool - Mount Sinai Doctors Medical Group - Full Time - Days

The Medical Assistant Relations Associate is responsible for providing patient procedures and clerical support in the office. Performs tasks such as EKGs, lab testing, PFTs, and admits patients to the exam room. Provides quality control, ensures patient referrals are completed, and documents treatment and telephone contact. Maintains examination rooms and medical areas in a clean and orderly fashion, registers and transacts patients, and updates patient information. Schedules appointments, retrieves and files medical reports/lab results, and communicates with physicians about patient emergencies. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CCMA or RMA)
• Microsoft Office Suite skills
