Job Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service setting. This includes clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, medical records, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Current RN license in the state of New York
- Certification in a specialty area such as critical care or pediatrics
