A Postdoctoral Fellow position is currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Samir Parekh within the Tisch Cancer Center, division of Hematology/Medical Oncology, focusing on B cell malignancies, particularly non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma.

Requirements

• Conducts a variety of research experiments under the direction of lab PI using basic molecular, cellular biology methods, and advanced research techniques;
• Coordinates project activities to meet deadlines;
• Collaborates with the Principal Investigator in the development of new experiments and research techniques;
• Assists in the implementation of standardized protocols for experiments and training purposes;
• Mentors and trains less experienced research staff and graduate students in research techniques and use of equipment;
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements;
