The Director of the Career Center provides strategic leadership, vision, and oversight for a comprehensive, centralized Career Center serving undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. The Director is responsible for advancing career readiness, experiential learning, employer engagement, and post graduate outcomes in alignment with the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, higher education/student affairs, training and development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in career services, experiential learning, or a related higher education field.
- Demonstrated commitment to and support of Mount St. Mary’s University’s Catholic, liberal arts mission.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with career management platforms, data analysis, and outcomes assessment.
- Ability to work effectively in a student‐centered environment.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends;
