Endocrinologist Faculty Physician

Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) seeks a full-time faculty member for the new Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Asheville, NC. The faculty member will provide excellent, evidence-based, efficient patient care services, as well as resident and student teaching, mentoring, curriculum planning, and effective supervision.

Requirements

• Provide direct clinical care to ambulatory patients in the endocrinology clinic and diabetes education center
• Provide after hours on-call (telephone) coverage, including night and weekend on-call duties
• Comply in a timely manner with all institutional policies for professional work, including credentialing, documentation, and billing
• Work effectively with other members of the extended inter-professional team
