UTILIZATION REVIEW COORDINATOR

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Utilization Review Coordinator to perform utilization review activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, evaluate the necessity and appropriateness of medical services, and maintain compliance with regulation changes. The coordinator will assist in evaluating patient progress, reviewing medical records, and conducting continuing reviews for identification and need of on-going hospitalization. They will also assist in maintaining review and appeal logs, participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, and assist with referrals to community resources.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in the state of Idaho
• Specialized training and/or experience in Utilization Review
• Strong knowledge of modern nursing principles, techniques, and procedures for the care of patients
• Minimum Three years nursing experience
