Job Description
Direct and guide the daily and weekly activities of refrigeration mechanics to ensure plant operates at maximum efficiency with limited downtime. Requires Level IV RETA Certification and experience in industrial manufacturing or skilled trades.
Requirements
- Acts as lead for all refrigeration mechanics, directs all work to be completed, daily and weekly.
- Trains and assists all other level refrigeration mechanics, is the subject matter expert on all refrigeration maintenance issues.
- Execute the schedules of maintenance, repair and improvement of refrigeration systems and equipment and cost control
- Repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect and adjust complex refrigeration processes in the plant to provide uninterrupted cooling requirements
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
- Daily/Weekly Reporting for all work completed and materials used
