The Account Manager is responsible for maximizing sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
Requirements
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers
- Creating accurate and competitive quotes and delivering successful projects
- Resolving escalated issues and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction
- Building and strengthening relationships with current customers
- Identifying upcoming projects and changes within the account
- Researching sources for developing prospective customers
- Presenting proposals to customers and following up to move open opportunities through the sales funnel and close new business
- Maintaining CRM database, files, and other necessary documentation
- Preparing weekly and monthly activity reports of account plans and opportunities projected to close
- Participating in trade shows, open houses and other activities for promoting the Triad in the marketplace
