Job Description
KSM Industries is looking for a skilled Laser Operator to join their 1st shift team. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating advanced laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality sheet metal parts.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in laser cutting or similar CNC/metal fabrication environment
- Strong understanding of laser cutting principles, practices, and production processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and part drawings
- Experience with NC code and laser nesting software
- Strong shop math skills (typically equivalent to 4 years of high school or vocational training)
- Comfortable working with computers and manufacturing software systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
