Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work under the direction of the Quality Manager, overseeing the functions of the plant HVAC, building maintenance, fire system, alarm system, generator, machinery and equipment, and support Management. The role involves developing processes and standards to provide efficiencies and enhance company profitability.
Requirements
- Perform a variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical system, HVAC, plumbing, machine and equipment repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration, etc.
- Test and monitor fire system, building alarm system, AED and fire extinguishers.
- Perform maintenance on vehicles, cranes and forklifts, if requested, and work with vendor for repairs when necessary.
- Ability to weld when needed.
- Participate in pickups/deliveries with all company vehicles.
- Snow removal with use of snow blower/shovels/salt.
- Coordination of subcontracted snow removal service and lawn care service
