Job Description
The Insurance Pricing Actuary role involves providing analytical and pricing support for the Marine and Natural Resources Divisions, collaborating with underwriters to assess risk and optimise pricing strategies, and developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the Pricing team, Underwriters, and all departments reporting to the Chief Actuary.
Requirements
- Undergraduate in maths, economics or actuarial science, or other numerate discipline
- Solid experience in Pricing, preferably London Market or Commercial Lines
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as SQL, Python, R, and VBA
