The Process Engineer - Wet Chemistry is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing wet chemical processes in advanced manufacturing and materials processing environments.
Requirements
- Contribute to the design of wet chemistry processes
- Develop and lead implementation of advanced manufacturing processes
- Develop specifications for process equipment
- Work with subcontractors and suppliers to design, construct, deliver, and install process equipment
- Conduct research to develop new and improved processes
- Develop methods and procedures to process and handle chemicals and materials
- Design and plan equipment layout
- Work with R&D team to translate lab-scale processes to pilot scale and production scale processes
- Work with regulatory team to establish safety procedures and safety controls
- Monitor process performance and troubleshoot problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mentor and train junior process engineers
- Perform other duties as assigned
