Job description
As a Senior Quantum Engineer at Microsoft Quantum, you will design and test the readout system for topological qubits at the component, subsystem, and system levels. You will work as part of a fast-paced and interdisciplinary team to grow as a systems engineer, hone expertise in quantum measurement, and gain experience working in an AI-first environment.
Design and test scalable readout circuitry for topological qubits, interface across teams to codesign the readout system, document work, analyze, interpret, and present measurement results, and use engineering best practices to build tools and processes necessary to enable progress in quantum research.
This role requires a strong background in physics, engineering, or a related field, with experience in industry or research and development environments. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the development of the first scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computer.
