Project Manager - Transportation Engineering - Field

MSA Professional Services is seeking a Project Manager – Field to lead construction-phase services for roadway and infrastructure projects in Southcentral region of Wisconsin. This position is ideal for a skilled field professional who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality projects that improve community mobility and safety.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Civil, Environmental, or Architectural Engineering Technology (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in roadway construction management, surveying, or related infrastructure construction services.
• WisDOT project experience is a strong plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and field crews simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of roadway construction methods, materials, and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), survey equipment and various field-testing instrumentation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and the public.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Professional or project management certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, CCM, or related).
• The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
