Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic, self-starter to join our Enterprise Information Technology team to help us identify and deliver business solutions, in partnership with Global Workplace and Enterprise Services and Information Technology colleagues.

What You Will Do

Design, modify, and validate software systems and components by developing robust applications and clear technical documentation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality and the user experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in large, complex IT development projects.
• Good understanding of DB Management System and DWH and Data Lakehouse concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Python or JavaScript programming.
• Experience working with APIs, specifically in programmatically interacting with API endpoints.
• Experience in SaaS application configuration and providing full lifecycle release support.
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue.
• Knowledge of Databricks.
• Exposure to Git version control best practices and working in a collaborative development environment and DevSecOps.
• Supplier, Procurement, Facilities Management experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and collaboration skills.
