Audio Engineer

The Audio Engineer is responsible for comprehensive oversight of audio operations within the Murray Arts Center and across campus, including live sound reinforcement, recording, mixing, and production support for student ensembles, classes, and special projects.

Requirements

• Technical degree in audio engineering, music technology, and/or 3-5 years audio engineering experience in live mixing and recording
• Working knowledge of recording software (Pro Tools, Reason, Logic, Waves, etc...), recording and mixing consoles (Solid State Logic, Behringer, Yamaha), sound design, recording and mixing techniques
• Knowledge of and proper care for digital and analog audio equipment
• Positive, team-player with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
