Job Description
Deliver high quality production profiles and support development plans, optimized to deliver maximum value. Support field development through the project maturation lifecycle, owning production profiles and associated development plans at each Decision Gate.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering disciplines
- 10+ years of both project phase & operational experience within the Upstream oil & gas industry as a Reservoir Engineer
- Experience of Development & Start-up in Deepwater, subsea environment
- Experience of development of gas-condensate reservoirs
- Strong reservoir simulation experience
- Experience of business planning & compliant reserves reporting
- Fluent in industry standard tools; expertise in Eclipse/TNavigator/IPM/Ecrin
- Field development planning & optimization, well placement, uncertainty analysis and identification & mitigation of key subsurface risks
- Able to take a leading role in TeComs & Project Gate reviews
- Fluent in reservoir simulation and history matching, PVT analysis
- Design well tests for exploration and appraisal wells, including the post-well test evaluation
- Real time drilling experience, monitoring geo-steering and tracking wells against prognosis
- Strong business planning/reserves reporting experience; able to bring a clear narrative to key stakeholders and integrate Capex/Opex
- Strong leadership & team management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills (verbal & written)
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex project & operational environments
- Strong commitment in high standard of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols in offshore projects
- Strong inter-personal, communication and presentation skills, able to work in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams
- Ability mentor and coach junior staff
